16 June, 2025.

Dear Readers,

At last, the new book launch machine fires up, and here it is. The title of the new book is:

Title Reveal: 'The Grange' on the wrought iron gates of a grand house during the afternoon. The words below it: The Philip Rayke MysteriesThe Grange Trilogy – The Philip Rayke Mysteries

If you are familiar with the Amanda Cadabra stories, this will give you a hint as to which three characters each have a pivotal point in their back story uncovered in this collection. If you want to get a taster, the first of the three, Gwendolen, is free to download from amandacadabra.com/free-book-gwendolen. Of course, that still leaves two more characters. And here they are:

Moffat

And the final one,

Cynthia

So there you have the three: Gwendolen, Moffat, and Cynthia.

Who? A New Character?

More about this trio and the significance of the title next time. Bur who is this Philip Rayke? I will only say at this time that he is not a character who is new to the Amanda Cadabra series. It may be that you, dear avid readers of the entire series so far, are pondering,

‘Rayke? Philip Rayke? I don’t remember any Philip Rayke.’

Never fear. Coming shortly … the title of the book in the Amanda Cadabra series in which he appears.

This is just first stop on the launch train. Next station coming soon: a peek at the cover, in the partial cover reveal. At that very moment (well, thereabouts) subscribers will be given a private view of the entire cover in all its glory. If you’re not yet of their august number, you’re still in time; it’s free; just click this link and come on in:

Launch day! Date to be announced.

A hand offering a bunch of yellow roses with orange centresThank You

Finally, a thank you … to everyone who supported the Amanda Cadabra Bookish Gifts Collection launch. This is my very first wave of items inspired by the Amanda Cadabra series. In case you missed it, it’s bookmarks, page spreaders (if you’re not certain what they are, frankly, neither was I, so I made this video to demonstrate), keyring page spreaders, and a coaster.

To each of you who checked out the new shop page, the videos, the Collection on Etsy, or elsewhere liked, shared or commented, or just turned up here and read about it or opened the email announcing it, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation. It all counts. It all matters more than you know.

Back in 2 or 3 days with the next stop on the journey to launch day.

Happy pondering,

Holly
