for the Amanda Cadabra series

Tim, creator of hundreds, if not thousands of published illustrations, fine arts graduate, composer, painter (the arty sort) and best-selling author of the above and below, is far too modest to tell you all this, but as his friend, I, Holly get to do it. More below, but this is Tim's Official Bio:

'T.J. Brown always found life far more amusing than he was supposed to. His great loves are history, comedy, science, secondhand books, Sunday roast dinners, and those metal head massager things. He's half Welsh and two-thirds English and grew up by the sea. Brown works, lives and writes in rural Shropshire, where there are far too many pubs and flipping huge castles.

His literary influences include GK Chesterton, Flann O'Brien and Spike Milligan.'

Why Tim's Page?

Without Tim's convincing me (over the course more than a year - he's very persistent) that I was in fact, deep down, a fiction author, there would be no Amanda Cadabra. Tim mentored me through plot creation, created the very first cover of the first book, Amanda Cadabra and The Hidey-Hole Truth, came up with the name, taught me the dark arts of Amazon and Facebook ads, continued to keep me up to date with publishing trends, and redesigned the covers for the entire series last year.

Having had the pleasure of editing the second and third books, I am looking forward to the next installment, which is currently simmering in the Tim creative cauldron.

Tim juggles a full time job as well as being an independent author and all of the other things he does. When Tim said he had no time currently for his website, the answer was obvious, that a small showcase of his genius should have a home here. That means he has more time to write The Unhappy Medium Book 4, to the delight, urging, and even clamouring of his myriad fans.

Chapter 01

It was a blissfully sunny August Sunday, and, as the villagers expected, Amanda Cadabra and her irascible feline companion were making their way towards their favourite picnic spot. Jonathan, the dazzlingly handsome but incurably shy assistant librarian, had raised a hand in greeting as they’d passed.
